Working with clay gives positive energy, calms you down, develops coordination of movements and grasping reflex. Clay stimulates imagination, develops creativity and socialises.

Clay can help children overcome their fears, and adults, especially military personnel, can relieve stress.

Since the beginning of Russian's military aggression, many Ukrainian soldiers and civilians have suffered both physical and psychological injuries. Military and civilians need rehabilitation while receiving medical care and special treatment.

Therefore, the Union of Ecologists of Ukraine has started working on the creation of a rehabilitation center, the main function of which will be rehabilitation through pottery.

A large number of people are working on the Center, who want to create a modern institution that will provide social rehabilitation services and the opportunity to learn new labor and professional skills.

What is our project about?

In the Center, military personnel and civilians will be able to receive physical and psychological rehabilitation. Physical rehabilitation will include a range of measures aimed at restoring full body functionality. This will include: physical therapy, massage, manual therapy and mechanotherapy, physiotherapy procedures, and for children, sensory integration will be a great option. Psychological rehabilitation will include sessions with a psychologist and art therapy, namely pottery classes.

Also, the Center will have rooms for both patients and those who found themselves in a difficult situation during the war.
At present, our team already has premises for the future Pottery Rehabilitation Center. Soon, the renovation work will begin and the Center will start its activities.
